Hidalgo from Herunen, Finland

I love old photos. One interesting thing, that I can see, is that Grammophone. When I was young my father had "His Master's Voice". These kind of photos are worth of gold!!!

@Hidalgo: My parents were very romantic people.
Thanks Hidalgo !

Carole

Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United States

Such a nice window into old times. This woman has spotted the camera; her lovely eyes and expression are made for this photo. The gentleman seems a bit uncomfortable, but has a very interesting face, with lots of character. What is especially interesting to me is how they are dressed for this picnic - a shirt and tie under the sweater for him. Interesting pattern on those pants, also. So different than what we'd wear today.

24 Apr 2009 12:45pm

@Viewfinder: Thank you, very nice values of the photograph, those things which only the eye of the photographer can see !

Carole

john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United States

Wow! That was even before my time (1935).

24 Apr 2009 2:15pm

@john4jack: Thank you, to bad that all this charm and romanticism is less and less seen.

Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, France
