@dj.tigersprout: My friend gilles d. check the calandar on the photograph and he read september 1925. I talk to Daniel later, his father (the third baber) was 17 years old and he was born in 1926. So the answer is 1943.

@Craig: The Salon Rainville still exist today and have almost the same look.
Daniel, the little son of Sylva, is the baber. That's make 3 generations.

J’ai rejoint Daniel, petit fils de Sylva,
qui m’a dit que son père Normand (3ième barbier de la photo) avait 17 ans,
Et il est né en 1926, la photo date 1943.
Le Salon Rainville existe toujours, c'est Daniel qui est coiffeur (barbier).

Excellente photo... C'est une scène complètement disparue de nos jours, quand seulement des hommes coupaient les cheveux aux hommes... Très beau souvenir. La cravate avait préséance sur le jeans!!!

Une image qui aurait le bonheur des Frères Coen dans leur film "The barber" !
Tout un symbole d'une époque disparue !
C'est touchant de "gravité" (les visages sérieux !) et de tendresse dans le regard posé sur ces coiffeurs d'autrefois !
