To think that we had to wait a week or so before we would eventually see these pictures after they were "developed" at the photo store. Today we see them instantaneously. And all this time I thought you were older than me. ;-)

désolé pour l'expression très local. Après vérification cela ne semble pas être du Français, mais du patois dauphinois (ma région). "être berchu" signifie "à qui il manque une ou plusieurs dents de devant". Ce sont donc les enfants qui sont souvent "berchu"

@Laurent: Il ne faut surtout pas s'excuser, j'adore ces expressions locales qui nous montrent une couleur que la grande varlope de l'uniformisation veut faire disparaître..

Il me manque en effet quelques dents sur la photo. Je me souviens de l'année car j'étais en 2e année lorsque je me suis fait enlever 5 ou 6 dents. Elles ont heureusement repoussées!

I am missing a few teeth in that shot. I was in 2nd grade when I had 5 or 6 teeth taken out, so that's why I remember it was in 1975.
