That image date around 1910-1920,
It is the construction of one bridge in Granby,
We are not sure which one is it ?

@RaChel: Non, c'est le pont de la rue Principale. Selon mon livre de l'histoire de Granby, il y a eu plusieurs ponts en bois, et au moins un pont en métal a cet endroit. La photo a été prise lors de la construction du premier pont en béton, selon moi aux alentours de 1920, mais je ne suis pas un historien.....

@FLOOG: We'll certainly be able to send you a photo of this place soon, we are in the last days a complete reconstruction and enlargement of this bridge. I's supposed to be ready around the middle of December. I'll certainlt try to find a good angle on the new 4 lane bridge and I suppose that my photo-friends of vu@granby will do the same.... :-) Thanks for your encouragement!

@marc: Je crois bien que c'est le pont de la rue Principale, vers 1910-1920, le premier pont en béton. Avant il y avait eu plusieurs ponts en bois et au moins un pont en métal. Merci pour ta visite,

Selon les recherches faites par Wolfgang, Carole et moi..
C'est la construction du 1er pont en ciment de Granby dont les travaux ont finit en 1925.
C'est le pont Mountain qui est présentement en construction.

@Laurent: Merci Laurent. Nous étions toute une équipe de "chercheurs" et finalement nous avons trouvé l'info exacte. Sur cette photo c'est la construction du premier pont en béton, il y a eu plusieurs ponts en bois et au moins un en métal à cet emplacement, qui a tout fin utile, est l'endroit qui à vu naître notre ville...

j,aime bien ces photos documentaires...ca c,est une belle trouvaille....et puis dans ce temps la photographie était un art très particulier..je m,imagine le photographe avec son voile sur la tete et le flash dans la main et dire ..ok c,est fait.......tout était a faire en ces temps ..tu imagine ceux qui l.on contruit ce pont..
