L'éphémère de Virginie... Elle a hérité de ce nom parce que chaque fleur ne dure qu'un jour. Le lendemain, un autre bouton floral prend la relève et dévoile son trésor coloré. Merci Carmen.

That's a beauty, almost certainly a spiderwort or close kin.. named because it was once thought the sap, similar to that of aloe, could help cure spider bites! It is much more delicately colored than our local ones. Great photo.
