Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaThe shadows and light on the snow are beautiful. A little hard to pedal though. 16 Feb 2008 6:56am @Michael Skorulski: You are right on the pedaling, I wouldn't even try :-) .... Merci pour votre visite sur notre blog, aggie from Singapore, SingaporeOh my goodness! I hope the bicycle was rescued. Interesting textures on the blanket of snow. Must be freezing there. 16 Feb 2008 7:41am @aggie: We will ask Hamiza if the bicycle was rescued, as for the freezing it's not too bad, I just came back from skiing and the conditions were great, maximum of -11º C. Martin Delorme from CanadaHahaha bon titre et belle photo. 16 Feb 2008 8:12am @medam961: Yes, winter can be very beautiful, sometimes funny too, like in Hamiza's photo. Thank you for the compliment, Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsJe suis heureux que ce n'est pas mon vélo :), mais c'est un peu égoiste, en effet je suis jaloux parce qu'il n'a pas neigé comme ça cet hiver aux Pays-Bas ;) 16 Feb 2008 10:08am @Illuci: En Frise le vélo peut servir 12 mois par année, à Granby c'est plus difficile, il y a "légèrement" plus de neige :-) Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaWhat an unusual sight! Well captured, I like it! 16 Feb 2008 10:09am @Ina: You are right, it's a fun shot by Hamiza! Thanks for your visit, Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesOh man, that is too funny (or not if it is your bicycle)! This is a great catch and you have handled the highlight detail very well! Excellent shot! 16 Feb 2008 12:08pm @Craiger: Thanks for the compliment. Hamiza is very serious about the technical aspect of his photos and he's very good at it. For more of his work look here. @Helma: Thank you for the comment! Harald from Frankfurt am Main, GermanyPerfektes Schneebild. Perfekte Tiefen und Lichter. 16 Feb 2008 4:28pm @Harald: Vielen Dank für das Kompliment. Was den Schnee betrifft, wir haben gottseidank einen sehr guten Räumdienst, vu@granby from Granby, Québec, CanadaPhoto de bicyclette ensevelie intéressante et aussi un lot d'aspérités de neige inusitées.
16 Feb 2008 4:55pm Steven from Montreal, CanadaI like the shapes and shadows of the snow. A very cool subject! 16 Feb 2008 5:02pm @Steven: Thanks Steven! OneThousandBirds from Moscow, Russian Federationvery nice shot... with mood. @Viewfinder: You have sand dunes and we have snow to bury things... :-) @Elisa: And I like this one of yours! Thanks for your comment, standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceMagnifique prise de vue. Merci du compliment pour la photo de Hamiza, @Brites: Obrigado muito muito, Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesInteresting how the snow seems to have a texture to it with the various "bumps" on the surface. The bike seems to be frozen in time as it stands and its handlebars are in a straight position. Good capture! 16 Feb 2008 10:32pm @Steven: Thank you for the compliment on Hamiza's photo, and welcome to our blog @zecarlos: Obrigado, e dê-o boas-vindas a nosso blog, @Michael Rawluk: You are right, snow chains for traction, but here in Granby we also use special snowshoes for bikes when there's deep snow :-) akarui from Kagoshima, JapanWow so much snow! I hope that it didn't fall on 1 night only. For the bike it can wait for better days... 17 Feb 2008 2:58am |
