The shadows and light on the snow are beautiful. A little hard to pedal though.
16 Feb 2008 1:56am
@Michael Skorulski: You are right on the pedaling, I wouldn't even try :-) .... Thanks for comment on Hamiza's photo, vu@granby - Wolfgang
Oh my goodness! I hope the bicycle was rescued. Interesting textures on the blanket of snow. Must be freezing there.
16 Feb 2008 2:41am
@aggie: We will ask Hamiza if the bicycle was rescued, as for the freezing it's not too bad, I just came back from skiing and the conditions were great, maximum of -11º C. vu@granby - Wolfgang
Interesting photo and beautiful white snow.
16 Feb 2008 3:12am
@medam961: Yes, winter can be very beautiful, sometimes funny too, like in Hamiza's photo. Thank you for the compliment, vu@granby - Wolfgang
What an unusual sight! Well captured, I like it!
16 Feb 2008 5:09am
@Ina: You are right, it's a fun shot by Hamiza! Thanks for your visit, vu@granby - Wolfgang
Oh man, that is too funny (or not if it is your bicycle)! This is a great catch and you have handled the highlight detail very well! Excellent shot!
16 Feb 2008 7:08am
@Craiger: Thanks for the compliment. Hamiza is very serious about the technical aspect of his photos and he's very good at it. For more of his work look here. vu@granby - Wolfgang
16 Feb 2008 10:35am
@Johanne Prescott: Il a peut-être pris suffisament d'antigel! vu@granby - Wolfgang
Excellent !! very nice shot .... i like it , thank you .

@Helma: Thank you for the comment! vu@granby - Wolfgang
Perfektes Schneebild.

@Viewfinder: You have sand dunes and we have snow to bury things... :-) vu@granby - Wolfgang
very nice capture!
16 Feb 2008 3:05pm
@Elisa: And I like this one of yours! Thanks for your comment, vu@granby - Wolfgang
Magnificent image!

@Brites: Obrigado muito muito, vu@granby - Wolfgang
Interesting how the snow seems to have a texture to it with the various "bumps" on the surface. The bike seems to be frozen in time as it stands and its handlebars are in a straight position. Good capture!

@Steven: Thank you for the compliment on Hamiza's photo, and welcome to our blog vu@granby - Wolfgang
Fabulous picture

@zecarlos: Obrigado, e dê-o boas-vindas a nosso blog, vu@granby - Wolfgang
Better though on the snow chains.
16 Feb 2008 8:53pm
@Michael Rawluk: You are right, snow chains for traction, but here in Granby we also use special snowshoes for bikes when there's deep snow :-) vu@granby - Wolfgang
Wow so much snow! I hope that it didn't fall on 1 night only. For the bike it can wait for better days...
16 Feb 2008 9:58pm
wow!! winter sleep for bikes :)
17 Feb 2008 12:02am
