Very interesting foreground of the snow covered logs.

@aggie: Thank you for your comment, Wolfgang
It gives a very rural but cozy image. We have similar piles around our house which are pleasing because you know you will stay warm

@Michael Skorulski: For most people here wood stoves are only a secondary heating system, but they do give a very cosy heat... Thanks for your comment, Wolfgang
Very rustic!

@Daroru: You are right! Wolfgang
Another snow picture! I like the piles of chopped would, it makes it look very natural and rustic. No snow where I am yet.

That is my childhood. Summer and fall spent splitting, hauling and stacking.

@Michael Rawluk: When it's more or less a hobby it's nice, but when it's a neccessity it becomes very tedious. Thanks for your comment, Wolfgang

2 Feb 2008 5:22pm
@Anne: Merci Anne! Wolfgang
« ... est-ce ca de la surexposition...? » Oui.

This is very good to look at (from a warm place).

@Viewfinder: With all this wood inside is going to be warm too, and outside we can do wintersports.... It's different from the warm weather in Florida, but not without its fun times, but sometimes it can be too long, Wolfgang
