Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaThis is beautiful. The eye is led right to that wonderful, colorful building. 31 Jan 2008 6:35am @Michael Skorulski: You are right, Hamiza's photo really leads our eyes to building in the background. It was a hotel near the city center, then it was transformed into a very nice retirement home. paola veneziani photography from Brescia, Italywoowww!!! un paesaggio mozzafiato!!! gli alberi ricoperti di brina o neve sono sempre spettacolari!! 31 Jan 2008 9:30am @paola veneziani photography: Sì, possiamo trovare la bellezza nell'inverno, mille grazie, Steven from Montreal, CanadaI like it when the limbs are covered with snow (or frost) 31 Jan 2008 9:47am @Steven: In that case Hamiza's photo is perfect for you! Thank you for your comment, @Viewfinder: And it's a night shot as well! Hamiza took it at 9:00 pm, using only natural light with a long exposure. That's why the water looks so black. Vielen Dank, Barbara from FloridaIt, United StatesVery beautiful image of winter. I like the glow of light in background. 31 Jan 2008 2:59pm @Barbara: Its a very nice retirement home, used to be a hotel. Thanks for your comment, Daroru from Amagasaki, JapanThe lights and colours on the building in the distance are intriguing... 31 Jan 2008 3:00pm @Daroru: Yes they are. Hamiza used a long exposure with only natural light... Thanks for stopping by, @Craiger: Thanks Craiger! MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomThe blackness of the river against the white frost covered trees, is georgous. I also really like the illuminated building in the distance. 31 Jan 2008 3:47pm @MaryB: The blackness is due to the fact that it's a night shot. (9:00 pm) Hamiza used only ambient light with of course a long exposure. The building is a fancy retirement home. Thanks for your comment, @Reza: Thanks a lot Reza, Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaA beautiful winter scene. The branches have a lovely delicate look in that light. 31 Jan 2008 4:38pm @Michael Rawluk: And to say it's a night shot! Really amazing, isn't it? Thanks for your visit, @Forouz: Yes, very special! Vielen Dank! @Bruno Simard: Au nom de Hamiza, merci! @badala: É difícil ver que é uma foto da noite, agradecimentos para sua visita, medam961 from Sarajevo, Bosnia and HerzegovinaThis is so beautiful and interesting photo. The photo is almost black and white because of that dark color of the river and those beautiful white frost branches...and the yellow glow of light in the distance gives some special charm to the photo. 31 Jan 2008 6:56pm @medam961: It's a night shot with only natural light and a long exposure. Hamiza made it this January. The building in the back is a retirement home. Thank you for the compliment, @Michael: Vielen Dank, es ist zusätzlich noch eine Nachtaufname! Hamiza hat es toll gemacht, Scarabaeus from Manchester, United KingdomGreat picture, the snow brings out the colour in the river. 31 Jan 2008 8:57pm @Scarabaeus: Thanks Scarabaeus, Cynthia from Farmersville, United StatesI like the "light" at the end of the "road" effect 31 Jan 2008 8:59pm @Cynthia: Thanks, the lighted building is a fancy retirement home, @Ina: In the name of Hamiza thanks for the compliment, standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceTrès belle photo. Bravo Hamiza!

Lovely 1 Feb 2008 4:55am Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsDe l'argent pur et du velours noir, j'aime aussi l'or de les lumières! Très bien fait! 2 Feb 2008 9:54pm baobab from Cambridge, United StatesI really like this - the buildings in the background seem like something from a Klimt painting, while the river seems so solid it's superreal 4 Feb 2008 1:42am marcel lemieux from Bedford,Qc, Canadaexcellente prise!....vous avez capté le moment magique et a la bonne heure car ce frimas n,a duré a peine 5 heures a certains endroits...la luminosité est superbe....très beau bravo 4 Feb 2008 5:19pm |
