@Michael Skorulski: You are right, Hamiza's photo really leads our eyes to building in the background. It was a hotel near the city center, then it was transformed into a very nice retirement home.

J'aime tout simplement, de la courbe du ruisseau au bâtiment à l'arrière ensoleillé, à gauche en avant qui est plus sombre à droite la neige .. j'aime !

The blackness of the river against the white frost covered trees, is georgous. I also really like the illuminated building in the distance.

@MaryB: The blackness is due to the fact that it's a night shot. (9:00 pm) Hamiza used only ambient light with of course a long exposure. The building is a fancy retirement home. Thanks for your comment,

This is so beautiful and interesting photo. The photo is almost black and white because of that dark color of the river and those beautiful white frost branches...and the yellow glow of light in the distance gives some special charm to the photo.

Merci à tous pour vos commentaires.

Pour les personnes qui se posaient des questions, il s'agit en fait d'une photo de nuit ce qui explique les bâtiments illuminés dans le fond. J'ai réalisé cette photo en janvier 2008 vers 21 h sous la neige, sans apport de lumière artificielle. Il s'agit simplement d'une pause longue sur trépied.
