Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaThe composition is nice as well as the colors and contrast. The red is startling. Overall this is a dramatic and pleasing photo. 21 Jan 2008 6:20am @Michael Skorulski: Thank you for your appreciation, Scarabaeus from Manchester, United KingdomI can see where the title comes from. The red cross really stands out from the rest of the photo, very striking. 21 Jan 2008 8:39am @Scarabaeus: Thanks, Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsBeautiful, that red cross against the green trees. Death to all evil, in the name of all its victims! 21 Jan 2008 8:42am @Illuci: You are pretty harsh today, Erik! Maybe we could try to refom evil first? :-) Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesThis guy was a good artist! Love the way the red cross stands out! Also like the way you've isolated the sculpture with value! 21 Jan 2008 9:00am @Craiger: Glad you like this cooperation between Hélène and Gilles, chris chisu from Seattle, United StatesYou managed a good capture here...i just wonder how it would look in B&W? 21 Jan 2008 9:42am @chris chisu: We'll wait for the artist to answer the question about the B/W, thanks for your remark,
gilles Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesAt the actual statue, is this cross really red? It is almost glowing on my screen, and that suggests some photo processing/saturation work has been going on. I like it; the photo works well -- and as others have noted here, it is dramatic. I'm just curious about the red. 21 Jan 2008 12:48pm @Viewfinder: To satisfy your curiosity: It was so tempting ;-) THX for your comment Viewfinder.
