Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaThis is an outstanding photo in soooo many ways that the space provided here will not be enough to list them all! The colors, focus, contrast in colors, timing, creativity... light, shadows etc etc etc. 5 Jan 2008 7:19am @Ina: Thank you for the compliment. Gilles Martineau did an outstanding job here. I suppose he did bribe the bird with the peanuts, as they are very wary and flit about like guided missiles. It's a blue jay, a pretty common North American bird. @Craiger: Thanks Craiger! @shahab: متشکرم @eddy: متشکرم medam961 from Sarajevo, Bosnia and HerzegovinaThis photo is absolutely great! The shadow turned the upper left side of the photo into blue so the snow looks like wonderful blue sky. The bird is so cute and its colour is just wonderful. I like each detail on this photo and the way the bird was caught in the action right on time. I am impressed with this photo! 5 Jan 2008 9:47am @medam961: Thank you, medam, glad you like this photo and we are always happy for your visits.
