@leslie: If I remember right there are enough herons and lakes on the Bruce Peninsula, so you can try to do one like this next summer...

It looks like the bird's leg is extended. I like to see the reflection in that still water...and the fog makes the photo somehow mysterious. While looking at this photo it seems to me I can almost hear the sound of silence there, if I can say so. I like this photo very much.

C'est quand on a le privilège de prendre une si belle photo qu'on se rappèle que la photo est un art bon pour le coeur et l'esprit :)
